Free concert featuring A1A – Official Jimmy Buffet Tribute Show, with Fair admission

You’ll be nibblin’ on sponge cake and watchin’ the sun bake this year on Labor Day at the Washington State Fair when you attend the End of Summer Bash. The Monday, Sept. 5th all-day event confirms that it is five o’clock somewhere with A1A, the official and original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show hitting the grandstand stage at Jimmy Buffett time – five o’clock! The concert is free with Fair gate admission. Enjoy that cheeseburger in paradise as you take in the tropical sounds around the entire Fair all day, complete with tropical drinks and foods. Fitting with a laid back Labor Day, the Fair will offer $2 rides until 2 p.m., BECU Free Kids’ Gate Admission, and Military Appreciation Day. Come Monday, it’s gonna be all right for the first 1,000 paid guests through Fair gates, as they’ll receive a free bobblehead of the infamous Fair mascot, Big Washington.

The Sept. 5th End of Summer Bash Concert featuring A1A-Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show is free in the grandstand upon Fair gate admission, and is part of the Washington State Fair’s 2016 Columbia Bank Concert Series. Advance Fair gate admission discount tickets will be available beginning August 8th at www.thefair.com and Fair ticket outlets, including Safeway and Albertson’s stores, and South Hill Mall. The Fred Meyer Value Pack also includes bundled savings of Fair gate admission, food bucks and rides.

A1A- The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show:

A1A was born in 1991 when Lead Vocalist and Guitarist, Jeff Pike asked Atlanta Parrot Head Club Founder, Scott Nickerson to join him  in his already successful one man tribute to Jimmy Buffett.  In 1992, the band won a Jimmy Buffett Sound Alike Contest for Margaritaville Records and the A1A ball started rolling – a ball that is still rolling 25 years later.
